Perhaps you’ve seen us on social media, at career fairs, or are simply on the hunt for a great summer internship experience. We are thrilled that you are interested in learning more about LRS Healthcare and seeking an internship that’s more than a resume builder. Our Talent Acquisition team will be your guides throughout the summer and look forward to getting to know you.
During your internship, you will have the freedom and responsibility to own a personal project to identify an internal inefficiency and propose a solution. At the end of the summer, you will have the unique opportunity to gain visibility and present your project to our Executive Leadership team and those who will be directly impacted by your process.
Throughout the summer, we aim to provide an engaging experience through educational training, a variety of tasks and projects, and career counseling. As your internship wraps up, our goal is that you’re one step closer to entering the workforce confidently and feel “career ready”.
“Career readiness” can be defined as the foundation or key competencies required for the long-term success of one’s career journey. This term has become an essential guideline and the foundation of our Summer Internship Program. Our program leaders and mentors will be right by your side throughout the summer, providing you with the tools and support you need to successfully launch your career.
Something we are extremely passionate about is our Career Readiness Training. Throughout the summer, you will have various learning opportunities to enhance your professional skills, such as job shadowing, career coaching, and resume and interview workshops. It’s not all work and no play, however.
As an LRS Healthcare intern, you’ll find that your summer is filled with exciting company outings and team-building events. Some fan favorites are the annual Strikers & Spikers Tournament for internal employees, Food Truck Thursdays, and local volunteer opportunities.
Internships are a great way to “get your feet wet” and while every internship offers valuable learning experiences and takeaways for young professionals, something we pride ourselves on is our workplace culture.
